[problem] Messages with multiple attachments are not filtered correctly

mxORB 2.2 and earlier can fail to filter messages with multiple attachments.

Cause

An error in the attachment filter causes messages with multiple attachments not to be filtered when all attachments do not match entries in the attachment filter.

For example:

• A message contains two attachments disco.mp3 and info.txt
• The attachment filename filter contains the regular expression \.mp3$, causing files with the mp3 extension to be filtered
• When mxORB processes the message it finds that disco.mp3 should be filtered, but it also finds that info.txt should not
• mxORB incorrectly performs no filtering because the second attachment did not require filtering
• If the second attachment had also matched an entry in the attachment filter, the message would have been correctly filtered

In the above example, mxORB should have performed filtering on the message because the disco.mp3 file matched an entry in the attachment filter. However, because the second attachment did not match an attachment filter entry, no filtering took place.

Resolution
