mxORB 2.2.3 update now available

mxORB 2.2.3 is now available for download here. This is a minor update that fixes a licence registration error when using mxORB with certain locales.

Note: This update can only be applied to mxORB 2.2, 2.2.1 and 2.2.2 installations. If you are using an older version of mxORB you must upgrade to mxORB 2.2, 2.2.1 or 2.2.2 before installing this update.

Upgrading to mxORB 2.2.3

To update to mxORB 2.2.3 follow the steps below. Note that the upgrade will involve a short period of downtime for your mail server and may possibly require a reboot.

1. Log-on as Administrator on the server where mxORB is installed
2. Download the mxORB 2.2.3 update (mxORBUpdate223.exe) setup program here
3. Stop the SMTP service (see [faq] How do I stop the SMTP service? for more information)
4. Ensure the mxORB configuration tool is not running
5. Run the setup program downloaded in step 2 and follow the on-screen prompts
6. Allow the setup program to restart your server if necessary
7. Start the SMTP service (see [faq] How do I start the SMTP service? for more information)

mxORB 2.2.3 should then be installed on your system. To verify, check the version number on the About tab of the configuration tool.
