mxORB

mxORB Spamware Plugin update now available

This update upgrades the mxORB Spamware Plugin to version 1.5 which includes a number of new and updated Message-ID header filters. This update also reduces the likelihood of a message created by Outlook Express being filtered incorrectly.

To install the update follow the steps below. Note that the upgrade will involve a short period of downtime for your mail server and may possibly require a reboot.

1. Log-on as Administrator on the server where mxORB is installed
2. Download the spamware plugin filter update setup program here
3. Stop the SMTP service (see [faq] How do I stop the SMTP service? for more information)
4. Ensure the mxORB configuration tool is not running
5. Run the setup program downloaded in step 2 and follow the on-screen prompts
6. Allow the setup program to restart your server if necessary
7. Start the SMTP service (see [faq] How do I start the SMTP service? for more information)

Note: this update is for mxORB 2.3.
